IT'S WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT

Established in 1997, the Wine Place in Niagara Falls, Ontario has become quite the meeting place for wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Voted Niagara’s Finest in Wine/Beer Making by the public for the 2009-2010 year it’s likely that they will win the Shopper’s News award again. It’s simply just a great place to be. The knowledgeable staff and fun products eliminate all of the intimidating aspects associated with wine.

Growing up on a vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake, David Alexander wanted to combine his knowledge with the need to start a new business venture. Seeing as self-brew retailers weren’t doing so well he decided to approach the Wine Place. Eventually becoming independent the Wine Place in Niagara Falls really began to thrive when the operation turned into a family business. Entering into a partnership with his brother Mark and accepting help from their father the three threw themselves into making the Wine Place the success that it is today.

While they pride themselves on creating an affordable, quality wine and social learning environment it’s clear that they’re not just making wine, they are making friends.

Half the Fun Is Making It!
The quality of self-made wine is exceptional. If you have yet to visit us at the Wine Place here are some other things you may not know:
  1. The average cost per bottle is significantly less than wine purchased from wineries.
  2. We work with you and your tastes to create a delicious wine right on our premises. It’s a fabulous time and there are always other people to bottle and socialize with!
  3. There are many high-quality wine kits and custom labels to choose from. Within six to eight weeks your unique wine will be ready to enjoy.
